Lady sitting

When making a sculpture using a model one is always  tempted to  make changes because the model never has the perfect figure for the sculpture one wants to represent.  Nevertheless, this piece was made with the intent of showing Paula, the model, just as she was when the piece was made, with no changes, including the hair style as well as the position she once took spontaneously when taking a break when posing for another sculpture.  It measures about 12 inches tall and was cast in bronze with a marble base.
